Alpha II, LLC (@Alpha_II), a developer of software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions that support healthcare reimbursement, announced its relationship with Manteq Systems & Information Technology, LLC in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Through the terms of the agreement, Alpha II will integrate ClaimStaker™ web-based, claim scrubbing and medical necessity solution with Manteq’s Clemittance RCM offering. The move will enable Manteq’s hospital and health system clients to validate claims for medical necessity and clinical accuracy against thousands of procedure and diagnosis coding combinations.

LA BioMed Announces $50 Million Bond Sale to Benefit Future High-tech Construction
LA BioMed (@LABIOMED52) announced that it has closed on the sale of its $49,835,000 Series 2018 Tax-Exempt Revenue Bonds issued by the California Health Facilities Financing Authority (CHFFA). The proceeds of the revenue bond sale, which was led by Wells Fargo Securities, will be used to finance various capital improvements on the LA BioMed campus, including constructing and equipping a new biomedical research building and biotech incubator.
Cerner Reports Second Quarter 2018 Results
Cerner Corporation (@cerner) announced results for the 2018 second quarter that ended June 30, 2018. Bookings in the second quarter of 2018 were $1.775 billion, an increase of 9 percent compared to $1.636 billion in the second quarter of 2017. Second quarter revenue was $1.368 billion, an increase of 6 percent compared to $1.292 billion in the second quarter of 2017.
