The 89th AHIMA Convention and Exhibit, October 7‒11, 2017, held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, in Los Angeles, CA, will explore the many ways health information professionals must inspire, innovate and lead their organizations into the future of health data analytics, informatics, and information governance.
Plan to attend the 89th AHIMA Convention and Exhibit, and join with other healthcare leaders, health information professionals, and healthcare stakeholders from every segment of healthcare to get industry updates, learn best practices, share innovative ideas, gain insights from lessons learned, and discuss how health information is shaping the future of healthcare. Additionally, the exhibit hall will feature new and exciting innovative technology solutions to help advance your organization and gain a competitive advantage.

Things to do
This year the convention will be held in good old, sunny Los Angeles, California. While there is a great deal being offered each day at the convention, you may want to consider skipping out early one day or book-ending your stay with a few extra days so you can try to squeeze in some fun while you’re there. AHIMA has compiled a list of places to eat, sites to see and activities to do while visiting Los Angeles. Only free for 48 hours? They even have a suggested itinerary to follow when you’re pressed for time and on a budget! Speaking of budgets, be sure to check out the Show Your Badge program for discounts at participating businesses around LA.
While the deadline for Early Bird Registration has passed, there is still time to save $100 if you take advantage of Advanced Registration prior to October 6th.
