What is HITECH Answers?
HITECH Answers is one of the largest online resources for providers, hospitals and medical staff to learn about the HITECH Act. We offer convenient online educational content to eligible professionals and hospitals looking to understand the process of adoption of certified EHR technology and achieving meaningful use.

How long has HITECH Answers been in business?
HITECH Answers was founded in April of 2009, two months after the $787 Billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) was signed into law. Included in this law is $19.2 Billion to be used to increase the use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) by physicians and hospitals; this portion of the bill is called the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act, or the HITECH Act.

How do you make money?
HITECH Answers generates revenue through site advertising and sponsorships. You can view our Media Kit here. HITECH Answers also offers it Health IT marketplace for vendors and companies to place a listing promoting their company.

How will you use any information you collect from me?
HITECH Answers collects information in the following ways:

  1. You opt-in to receive our email digest or monthly newsletter.
  2. You register to download any on demand webinar, white paper or podcast.
  3. You register to participate in MU Live! and other HITECH Answers produced content.
  4. You register as part of the UBM Medica network.

While HITECH Answers does not directly sell its data base of contacts to 3rd party marketing companies, registration or download of sponsored content may mean your contact information will be shared with the sponsor.  Also, some of our e-learning sessions are presented by national speakers who may request a list of attendees names and e-mails. HITECH Answers may fulfill this request.
